TWO SMALL ROMAN LANDSCAPE OIL ON CANVAS PAINTINGS IN GILDED FRAMES BY DAVID MAITLAND ARMSTRONG (American, 19th century); comprising:
.1= Alignment of trees, with central vasque form fountain in foreground, within the Pincio terrace of Pincio gardens; in background Rome with St. Peter's dome seen from the terrace; located near the Piazza del Popolo and by the entrance to the Villa Medici.
.2= Pyramid and trees, figure in front signed lower right corner (illegible)- Protestant cemetery in Rome near the Porta San Paolo with Caius Cestius pyramid tomb (18BC-12BC).
