A ROSEWOOOD BEDSTEAD (American, mid 19th century). A three-quarter bedstead with a curved panel footboard and an arched headboard with an applied high relief bird in nest, and heavily carved urn finials, in the manner of Julius S. Dessoir (active in New York 1842-66).
