A SET OF SIX GOTHIC REVIVAL WHITE OAK SIDE CHAIRS ATTRIBUTED TO JOSEPH MEEKS AND SON, NEW YORK (American, circa 1840). The chairs have pierced back rails in the form of clubs and modern needlepoint seats, worked by Alletta Morris McBean, depicting various birds.
