Description
A Tournai Renaissance tapestry of 'Seigneurs et Bohemiens' (Flemish, c. 1510). The center of the tapestry depicts a flower strewn background with an enthroned king and queen surrounded by and receiving homage from courtiers. On the lower left are two musicians playing trumpets. In the background are even more courtiers against a distant landscape. The scene is surrounded by a grapevine border accented with fruit and flowers.
