Description
A ten piece Chinese export famille rose partial tea service (Chinese, c. 1790-1800) with medallions of an allegorical figure of Commerce leaning on an anchor and looking out to two ships in the harbor, a spaniel at her side and two doves attached to her right hand. Each piece is decorated with a salmon colored band within gilded trelliswork and husks and an inner green enamel band.
