A SET OF TWELVE SHERATON STYLE MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS (American, 19th century) with embroidered leather upholstery. They are New York dining chairs of the Slover and Taylor type with square backs with steeped and fluted panel crestrails above black splats of fluted colonnettes with ribbed and flared tops, stuffed swell front seats, square tapered fluted front legs, ending in spade foot, splayed back legs, front legs of armchairs now on casters, and 20th century upholstery of blue floral pods with tendrils embroidered on white leather ground. The upholstery in the style of 19th century linen embroidery.
