Description
Ivory whale's tooth mounted with pegs on ivory stand. Stand has scalloped edge with red wax in crease of edge, four ivory feet. Incised portrait of Mrs. Deblois, wearing beads, a jacket, and a cross. Some red coloring in lips and beads. Notes from Stuart Frank 11/04/2009: panbone base, red sealing wax used; whale tooth.
