Description
A color postcard depicting Washington Square, looking east. At right, the square, a flagpole, and a statue of Oliver Hazard Perry statue can be seen. At center, an electric trolley travels downhill, while a horse-drawn carriage moves by. A row of buildings is seen at left, including the Odd Fellows Hall and an Army and Navy Y.M.C.A. building (1911); a Gold Medal Flour advertisement is visible on a billboard at far left. Postcard has a July 1915 postmark, and also includes a message addressed to Miss Helen M. Veinaus.
