NEWELL IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE DISTRICT OF MASS." Gold frame. Although titled "Newport in 1730," the image more closely illustrates Newport in c.1740 (see Colony House; Long Wharf prior to its 1741 extension).
