Description
A black and white photograph depiciting the Hotel Viking in its final stages of construction. Piles of dirt, a ladder, and wood planks are visible. A sign on the corner reads " 'The Viking'/Newport's New Hotel/Open Season 1926." Another sign designates "R.B. Wilson, Jr." for "Plumbing, Heating, Drainage, and Ventilation." Most likely, photo is also a Newport Daily News glass plate negative.
