A glass plate negative depicting the Ralph S. Izard House (c. 1845), located at 10 Pell Street (interesecting with Kay Street). The house is made of stone, and has a mansard roof , dormers topped with pediments, corbels, and a long porch which wraps around the house. An entrance stairway is covered by a striped awning. A drive leads up to the house, and is surrounded by a lawn, bushes, and overhanging trees.
